  • I-376 Parkway East Milling and Paving Operations this Weekend in Monroeville

    The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing lane restrictions for milling and paving operations on I-376 (Parkway East) in the Municipality of Monroeville, Allegheny County will occur this weekend, Friday night through Sunday afternoon, June 19-21 weather permitting. Milling and paving operations, line painting, and other miscellaneous construction activities will occur on I-376 between the Monroeville/Plum (Exit 84 A/B) and Penn Hills (Exit 81) interchanges this weekend. I-376 will be reduced to a single-lane of traffic in both directions from 9:00 PM Friday night continuously through noon on Sunday to accommodate the work. The restrictions could be lifted earlier if the work is completed sooner. Additionally, overnight restrictions will occur from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM Monday through Thursday nights this week to allow crews to conduct High Friction Surface Treatment installation and compression seal replacement work.
  • Eastbound I-376 Parkway East Nightly Lane Closure This Week in Pittsburgh, Edgewood

    The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing a nightly lane closure on eastbound I-376 (Parkway East) in Edgewood Borough and the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Tuesday through Thursday nights, June 16-18 weather permitting.   A single right lane closure on eastbound I-376 will occur between the Squirrel Hill Tunnel and the Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) interchange from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM each night. Crews will use the closed lane on the existing bridge to conduct concrete and barrier work on the new bridge.

    The glass recycling dumpster is back in place at the borough building for resident use. It is located directly behind the Public Works garage.
